The Cape May County UAS Program develops activities with a focus on (a) fostering innovation; (b) bringing innovators/developers together with end users; and (c) serving the public good, from general outreach to specific activities like First Responder R&D.  Examples:

Assisting Innovators In Unique Work
Inside a historic aircraft hangar at KWWD, watch Luftronix, Inc., demonstrate its precision navigation technology that inspects aircraft for damage.

United Nations Workshop
U.N. personnel witnessed a simulated medical emergency at sea, at a workshop on U.N. guidelines governing the use of drones in overseas disasters.

Assisting First Responders
Innovators American Aerospace Technologies, Inc. and Verizon worked with County OEM to develop First Responder emergency management tools.

Drone Camp
Middle-schoolers enjoy a Saturday "Drone Camp."  Keeps these STEM geniuses busy all day! Takeaway for each student was his/her own drone.
